Feature

Collect meal choices and dietary needs

Turn on meal options and a dietary field, and guests choose their entree and flag allergies when they reply. Every answer collects in one place, so catering is settled long before the day.

Entree choice in a tap

Offer a short list of options and guests pick one when they RSVP. No free-text guessing.

A dietary notes field

A free-text line catches allergies and preferences your options miss, the field caterers ask for most.

One clean count

Every choice rolls into a single list, so you know how many of each entree without tallying texts.

Turn it on only when you need it

Skip it for a casual party, switch it on for a plated dinner. It is per event.

Ask once, in the same step as the RSVP

When a guest replies Going, they pick their entree and add any dietary needs in the same moment. You are not sending a follow-up asking what everyone wants to eat, and guests are not replying to a separate thread. It is one form, one reply, everything captured.

Keep the options short and concrete

Two to four entrees is plenty: cover a meat, a fish or poultry, and a vegetarian or vegan option so every guest has something. Label them plainly, chicken, salmon, or a stuffed portobello, so guests choose in a second, and let the dietary field handle the specifics like nut allergies or gluten.

  • Offer 2 to 4 named entrees
  • Always include a vegetarian or vegan option
  • Add a free-text dietary field for allergies
  • Consider a separate kids' meal option

From replies to a caterer-ready count

As replies land, your dashboard shows the running totals: how many fish, how many vegetarian, and who flagged an allergy. On Pro you can export the whole thing to a spreadsheet and hand the dietary column straight to the caterer. It beats forwarding a thread of texts and hoping you counted the vegetarians right.
