How to make it scan reliably
A code that does not scan is worse than no code, so give it room and test it before the whole batch prints.
- Print it at least one inch square with clear white space around it
- Use a dark code on a light background, not over a busy photo
- Print the web address next to it as a fallback
- Test it on two or three phones at the real printed size
